No.18 in E minor - Linda di Chamounix
Donizetti's last complete string quartet, written in Naples 1836. Later, he rewrote this quartet as a symphony for the Court of Vienna, and took the first movement as the overture for his opera, "Linda di Chamounix", also for Vienna.
